ELECTIONS:
OHIO VOTERS APPROVE ABORTION PROTECTIONS; KENTUCKY RE-ELECTS DEMOCRAT
NBC NEWS:
Competitive races in dozens of states provided insights into what voters are thinking ahead of 2024, including further evidence that voters remain motivated by the overturning of Roe v. Wade, which helped propel Democrats to victories in Kentucky and Virginia. There were also few signs that economic unease hurt incumbents.
Voters in the conservative state of Ohio approved two ballot measures. The first will enshrine the right to reproductive care, including access to abortion, in the state constitution. The second will legalize recreational marijuana use. Both amendments required 50% thresholds after voters rejected a measure this year to raise the threshold.
Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear, a Democrat, defeated Republican state Attorney General Daniel Cameron, who has defended the state’s abortion ban.
In Mississippi, Gov. Tate Reeves, a Republican, defeated Democrat Brandon Presley.
Virginia held elections for the state Senate and House. Democrats held control of the upper chamber and flipped the state House. The fight for control of the Senate had largely been painted as a vote on whether the state would further restrict abortion.
TWR: This election continues the trend of High-Profile races being won by Democrats, down-ballot races won by Republicans…
Also, the Abortion Issue seems to be not just a rally point for Democrats but also a Republican electoral error…But Why?
In my view, Americans aren’t especially enamored with ending pregnancies at will…But rather, Americans are very averse to voting away Freedom & Liberty regardless of the issue…
The Left wants Americans to abdicate their Freedoms to drive cars of their choice, how they cook their food, whether to vaccinate themselves…
Republicans want Americans to abdicate their Freedoms to decide when to have, or not to have Children.
What is the Answer? Republicans must work to pass a Law defining the Legal Moment when Life Begins.
Solve that and this entire political torture of We the People…ends.
ISRAEL/HAMAS WAR:
ISRAEL RELEASES VIDEO OF FIERY ATTACK ON HEZBOLLAH ‘TERRORIST TARGET’
FOX NEWS:
Israel’s military has shared a video purportedly showing a fiery attack on a Hezbollah “terrorist target.”
The Israeli Air Force wrote on X that the attack happened overnight, with footage depicting a fireball emerging following an airstrike.
Hezbollah, which is based in Lebanon, has been engaging in border skirmishes with Israeli forces as military activity is heating up against Hamas inside the Gaza Strip.
The Air Force released the video as it continues its ground operation in Gaza, announcing early this morning that Mohsen Abu Zina – whom it described as the Hamas’ “Head of Weapons and Industries” — is the group’s latest top official to be taken out.
15,000 GAZANS FLEE SOUTH AS ISRAEL CRACKS DOWN ON HAMAS
The United Nations estimates that some 15,000 people fled south from northern Gaza on Tuesday as Israel continued its campaign against Hamas terrorists in Gaza city.
Footage circulating on social media appeared to show a convoy of thousands of Gazans waving white flags as they moved south, flanked by Israeli armored vehicles. The U.N. Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs says the Gazans used Israel’s 4-hour window set up for evacuation.
Israeli forces are locked in combat with Hamas terrorists embedded in hundreds of miles of tunnels beneath Gaza City. Israeli officials said earlier this week that they believe many of the hostages Hamas took on Oct. 7 are being held under the city as well.
Those fleeing included children, older people and people with disabilities, and most walked with minimal belongings, the U.N. agency said.
ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT ON PALESTINE PRESIDENT MAHMOUD ABBAS
Horrifying video footage captures what appears to be an attempted assassination on Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
The president’s convoy came under a hail of gunfire after he disregarded a menacing ultimatum from renegade Palestinian security forces, urging him to declare war on Israel.
Abbas holds the position of Chairman of the Palestinian Liberation Organization, or PLO, which governs the West Bank territory. Notably, the Palestine Authority president does not endorse the terrorist group Hamas, which controls the besieged Gaza Strip.
Local media reported that “one of Abbas’ bodyguards was shot, and the attack was claimed by the organization known as ‘Sons of Abu Jandal.'”
AN ISRAEL-HAMAS PAUSE WOULD BE LIKE US ASKING GERMANY FOR ONE IN 1945
Israel’s former prime minister denounced the idea of offering a military “pause” or cease-fire with Hamas, saying it would be inviting the enemy to rearm, strategize and inflict even more pain on the Israeli people.
Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said Israel is party to an “inevitable war to eliminate Hamas” and that there is no backing down until the terror threat is gone.
“There’s no way that we can accept the terrorist state that did what it did on our border,” he said, adding a pause will lengthen the war and bring about all the negative repercussions associated with a drawn-out conflict, like the human toll.
NEARLY TWO-THIRDS OF AMERICANS DISAPPROVE OF BIDEN’S HANDLING OF ISRAEL-HAMAS WAR
Nearly two-thirds of Americans say they disapprove of President Biden’s handling of Israel’s ongoing war against Hamas, according to an Associated Press poll released Wednesday.
While Americans overwhelmingly support Israel’s war against Hamas, they showed less support for the U.S. providing military aid to Israel in the conflict. Roughly 56% of Americans say Israel’s response to Hamas Oct. 7 massacre is about right or has not gone far enough, the poll found.
Meanwhile, only a third of Americans approve of how Biden has responded to the conflict, with 63% saying they disapprove, a figure that mirrors his approval rating more generally.
KARINE JEAN-PIERRE SKEWERED ONLINE FOR REFUSING TO CONDEMN VANDALISM OF HOSTAGE ISRAELI POSTERS
White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre faced condemnation online after an initially hesitant response to a question about activists removing posters of hostages taken by Hamas terrorists.
Numerous videos have gone viral of activists tearing down posters showing hostages that were taken in the Oct. 7 terrorist attack that killed 1,400 in southern Israel.
A reporter noted to Jean-Pierre on Tuesday that there have been widely shared videos of individuals “tearing down signs” of Israelis currently being held hostage by Hamas terrorists in Gaza.
He proceeded to ask whether it is the White House’s view that “these actions should be condemned” or if the White House sees such activity as a “form of peaceful protest.”
“I’ve sorta kinda seen the reporting,” Jean-Pierre said. She went on to block further questioning from the reporter and declared, “I’m just not going to go into specifics on that particular thing.”
POLITICS:
US HOUSE ACTS AGAINST RASHIDA TLAIB
CNN:
The House passed a GOP-led resolution on Tuesday to censure Rep. Rashida Tlaib over comments critical of Israel and in support of Palestinians amid Israel’s war against Hamas.
The move amounts to a rare and significant rebuke of the Michigan Democrat, who is the first Palestinian-American woman to serve in Congress. The vote was 234 to 188 with four Republicans voting against and 22 Democrats voting in support of the censure resolution.
The resolution, which was introduced by Georgia GOP Rep. Rich McCormick, advanced earlier in the day after a Democratic-led effort to block the measure failed.
TWR: Rashida Tlaib is an unapologetic, genocidal, anti-Jewish Bigot. She has no place in the United States Congress…
The support of Hamas, confirmed as a Designated Foreign Terrorist Organization by the US State Department, is a federal felony…
She should be Arrested…Not Censured.
Further, advocating terrorist activity is not Free Speech…
US HOUSE APPROVES BILL SLASHING BUTTIGIEG SALARY TO ZERO
FOX NEWS:
The House approved a measure late Tuesday that would slash Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg’s taxpayer-funded government salary to just $1.
The bill — which was introduced by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga. — was passed via voice vote Tuesday as an amendment to the 2024 Financial Services and General Government Appropriations Act, the standalone funding bill for the General Services Administration, Securities and Exchange Commission and other related agencies.
“I’m proud to announce my amendment to FIRE Pete Buttigieg just PASSED the House.
Pothole Pete staged fake bike rides to the White House and used private planes funded by taxpayers to receive awards for the way certain people have sex,” Greene said in a social media post Tuesday. “American taxpayers should not be on the hook for paying for his lavish trips or his salary.”
“Pete Buttigieg doesn’t do his job. It’s all about fake photo ops and taxpayer-funded private jet trip to accept LGBTQ awards for him,” Greene added. “I’m happy my amendment passed, but he doesn’t deserve a single penny.”
TWR: The reality test for this action is this…Is American Transportation better, or worse since Secretary Buttigieg took office?
Suddenly, a $1.00 per year salary looks about right.
CNN POLLING PUTS TRUMP AHEAD OF BIDEN
CNN:
One year out from Election Day 2024, former President Donald Trump narrowly leads President Joe Biden, 49% to 45% among registered voters, in a hypothetical rematch in the latest CNN poll conducted by SSRS.
Biden’s reelection chances are buffeted by deeply negative approval ratings, a stagnant sense that things are going poorly in the United States, diminished support among key voter blocs, and a widespread sense that he is not up for the job.
In the potential rematch between Biden and Trump, neither candidate has much room for growth. All told, 51% of voters nationwide say there is no chance at all that they would vote for Biden, and just 4% are not currently supporting him but say there is a chance they will.
Nearly half, 48%, say there is no chance they will vote for Trump, and only 2% that they aren’t currently backing him but would consider it.

JUSTICE:
IVANKA TRUMP TESTIFIES IN NY FRAUD TRIAL
FOX NEWS:
The former president’s oldest daughter and close confidante − took the witness stand Wednesday in a high-stakes New York trial over whether Donald Trump and others, including Trump business entities, should be forced to turn over hundreds of millions of dollars and lose business privileges for allegedly engaging multiple forms of fraud and conspiracy.
Her relatively subdued testimony followed a fiery appearance from Donald Trump on Monday, in which he described New York Attorney General Letitia James as a “fraud” and “hack,” and railed against the September ruling of the judge, Arthur Engoron, that his financial statements inflated the value of his assets.
Ivanka Trump, a former White House advisor and top company business leader, has already distanced herself from her father’s claims of 2020 election fraud.
TWR: This ridiculous abuse of America’s Justice System should be a forever stain on the combined legacies of Leticia James, the State of New York, the DOJ and the US Democrat Party.
Regardless of how these trials turn out, it is my hope that the Trump Organization leaves New York, allowing that “state” to marinate in its own corruption.
LAWSUIT TO STOP NJ’S BABY BLOOD DATABASE
FOX NEWS:
Hannah Lovaglio’s first son entered the world a month early. Nurses bustled in and out of the hospital room during his first days of life and frequently pricked his heel to check his blood, Lovaglio recalled.
“I just trusted and assumed that everyone had my best interest in mind and my child’s best interest in mind,” she said. “So I didn’t question much.”
Unbeknownst to the new mother, New Jersey secretly stores newborn “bloodspots” for up to 23 years and has in some cases turned samples over to police, open records inquiries found.
Now, Lovaglio and fellow mom Erica Jedynak have joined a federal class-action lawsuit that accuses New Jersey health officials of violating millions of babies’ and parents’ constitutional right to be free from unreasonable search and seizure.
Every state requires hospital staff to collect a baby’s blood shortly after birth. The blood is then tested for a variety of health disorders like cystic fibrosis, hormonal deficiencies or other immunodeficiencies and congenital disorders.
In New Jersey, the screening identifies about 150 babies per year with serious illnesses, according to a handout hospitals give parents. Parents are not told that the state stores those samples for more than two decades, nor why.
TWR: The 4th Amendment of the US Constitution is, as is the rest of the Bill of Rights, clear.
There can be no Search & Seizure without Probable Cause…Why is it that We the People have tolerated being so ill-served by those We employ to protect Us?
House. Cleaning.
Now.
